Artist's Statement
" "
Nancy Tydings Bullough works primarily on Pet Portraits these days. She gets so much satisfaction seeing her clients reactions to creating lasting memorials of their cherished pet. She also works in oils, charcoal, colored pencil and watercolors. She also has fun with Zentangling. Her favorite artist is Vincent van Gogh because of the passion and emotions his paintings evoke. Nancy’s goal with her artwork is, like Van Gogh, to make a visual statement that creates an emotional response in viewers.

Ms. Bullough has always loved to draw and paint and started taking art lessons as a young girl, ultimately receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Maryland. As an award-winning artist, Ms. Bullough has exhibited in numerous juried shows, winning awards for both her paintings and charcoals. She has been a member of numerous professional art associations in Maryland and Naples, Florida.
